Where the rankings disagree
Treat these placements with caution. Each card quotes the ranking that disagrees with the consensus.
Maxbit calls it “S-Tier Meta when you play in a group and a bit lower alone. You have a ton of heals and crowd control while not losing out on damage too much. It's actually pretty strong in PVP too.” The Faceless/ItzVexo consensus places it in S, just below Dark.

Both rankings were published before these books were added. We list what is known instead of guessing a tier.
New in the Sep 26 season: summons, a trapping dome and a lance — a control-and-summon Grow book.
Our advice: Too new to rank. Its control kit looks strong for PvE packs — wait for the first community rankings before rerolling an A-tier Rare away.
What we know about Mercury →Listed in the official “for the few” group. Its Clover Legends kit has not been documented yet.
Our advice: Unknown. We will add moves and data once they are documented from Clover Legends itself.
What we know about Star →New Mythical from the Sep 26 season: clock-themed AoE and a stun.
Our advice: Promising and rare. Wait for rankings before spending heavily to chase it over Light or Anti-Magic.

What is the best grimoire in Clover Legends?
Light and Anti-Magic, both Mythical. Every ranking we track puts them on top: Light for single-target and boss damage, Anti-Magic for packs and PvP.
What is the best Rare grimoire?
Lightning and Chain, both A tier in every ranking. Lightning is the cheaper one to buy at 5,000,000 Yul.
What is the worst grimoire?
Wind. It is the only book both rankings place in D tier for PvE.
Where are Mercury, Star and Time on the tier list?
They are not ranked yet. Both tier lists we track were published before these books were added, so any placement you see elsewhere is a guess until a new ranking is published.
Is this tier list for PvE or PvP?
PvE. Both source rankings judge books mostly on PvE damage. No published ranking covers PvP or boss damage separately yet, so we do not invent one.
Should I reroll an A-tier grimoire?
No. Higher rarity mostly means more damage, so a developed A-tier Rare beats an un-levelled Legendary for a long time. Spin again only when you are chasing a Legendary or Mythical.
