Bosses are the official source of Spell Pages, and Spell Pages gate every awakening. That makes boss order the real bottleneck of your power curve, not playtime. Bosses also dodge and counter — standing still and trading hits is how first attempts end.
Boss Tokens (spent in the Dark Shop on cosmetics, Yul or Gems)
Fight plans
Barbarian King
Island boss
Starter Island · Lv 105 (September footage)
Mechanics
Heavy melee swings
Dodges and counters rather than standing still
Plan
Clear Sister Lily's Wild Monkey quest first, then take Father Orin's boss quest.
Dodge (Q) the heavy swings and punish the recovery with your basic attack; do not trade hits.
First attempts commonly end in a wipe — come back after a few more levels rather than forcing it.
Raichi the Fallen
Island boss
Skull Island and the Dungeon (wave 5 of 15)
Mechanics
Appears at a different level in the Dungeon than on Skull Island
Adds: Fox Mages (in the ruins, not part of the fight)
Plan
On Skull Island, finish the five-Fox-Mage ruins task first; read the nameplate to find the actual boss.
In the Dungeon, keep cooldowns for wave 5 — earlier waves drain mana.
Pumpkin King
Island boss
Jungle Island
Mechanics
Large pumpkin-headed melee boss among the trees
Plan
Fight in a clearing so trees do not block your camera.
Open with your most reliable heavy skill, keep a dodge ready for the response.
Rades
Island boss
Zombie Island
Mechanics
Floats above the arena
Summons waves of Risen Zombies and a Risen Champion
Adds: Risen Zombies
Adds: Risen Champion
Plan
Kill the summoned waves below him — older guides describe clearing adds rather than hitting Rades during the summon phase.
Use AoE on grouped zombies, then turn single-target damage on the Risen Champion before it reaches you.
Diamond Island boss
Island boss
Diamond Island
Mechanics
Added in the Sep 26 season; name and mechanics not documented yet
Plan
Endgame-level boss (Lv 6000–8999 island). Bring a fully awakened book.
Midnight Sun world bosses
World boss
Midnight Sun Island
Mechanics
Two world bosses on a spawn timer
Large model with movement phases
Jumps from wall to wall between phases
Plan
Check the spawn timer before travelling.
Keep the camera on the boss during wall-jump phases; burst it when it lands.
A high-damage build can end it quickly, but the phases punish players who stand in place.

Spell Pages, Boss Keys and Boss Tokens
Spell Pages
Required by every awakening stage alongside six materials. Bosses are the official source. Codes like DIAMOND9000 and AWAKEN handed them out before expiring.
Boss Keys
Boss Keys are spent in the Boss Summon interface on Colosseum Island. They come from codes (TREASURE10K, TREASURE20K and FIGHTON all paid one before expiring) and appear in Dungeon boss loot.
Boss Tokens
Dropped by the Midnight Sun world bosses (Oct 3). Spent in the Dark Shop on cosmetics, Yul or Gems.
Farm with a target
“Get the Spell Pages my next awakening needs” is a better session goal than “fight the hardest boss.” Check the Awaken tab first; if your shortage is a material instead, the boss is the wrong trip — see where each material comes from.
Boss FAQ
Who is the first boss in Clover Legends?
The Barbarian King on Starter Island, after Sister Lily's Wild Monkey quest. September footage shows him at Lv 105.
Is the Zombie King called Rades?
Yes. Older videos say Zombie King; the in-game nameplate on Zombie Island reads Rades.
Where do Spell Pages come from?
Bosses, per the official description. A filmed wave-5 Dungeon kill of Raichi the Fallen dropped one Spell Page and one Boss Key. Codes occasionally give them too.
Does every boss drop a Spell Page?
Not guaranteed. No drop rates are published. Farm the boss whose drop you actually see, and stop when your next awakening is covered.
When do the Midnight Sun world bosses spawn?
On a timer shown in-game. The exact interval has not been published.
