How progression works
Clover Legends has five progress tracks that are easy to confuse. Most “why can't I…” questions come from mixing them up.
Spin for a grimoire
One spin sets your book and every ability slot. Your first spin is free; after that each spin costs 160 Gems. Rarity odds: 60% Uncommon, 35% Rare, 4.5% Legendary, 0.5% Mythical, with a pity counter for the top two.
Level the book
Book level rises from fighting with that book — not from Player level. New spells unlock at book Lv 10 and Lv 20. “No second spin needed.”
Awaken it (I → V)
Each stage needs a book-level gate, six materials, Spell Pages from bosses and Yul. Every stage adds damage and crit; stage V unlocks your ultimate. Plan it with the Awakening Planner.
Push islands with Player level
Quest NPCs refuse quests above your level. Starter (1–159) → Skull (160–379) → Jungle (380–899) → Poison (900–2099) → Castle (2100–4999) → Zombie (5000–6000) → Diamond (6000–8999).
Climb ranks, then PvP
17 Magic Knight ranks give auras and stat buffs. Trading opens at Lv 100 and the PvP Arena at Lv 250.

What is Clover Legends?
A Black Clover-inspired open-world action RPG on Roblox by Flecks Labs: Legends (place ID 90860390610142). You spin for a grimoire, level it by fighting, awaken it with boss Spell Pages and materials, and push through 11 islands and 17 Magic Knight ranks.
How many grimoires are there?
15, in four official groups: Fire, Wind, Water (start); Earth, Lightning, Plant, Poison, Chain, Mercury (grow); World Tree, Dark (lucky); Light, Star, Time, Anti-Magic (few). Claims of “60+ grimoires” come from an outdated wiki.
Is Clover Legends the same as Clover Origins?
No. Clover Origins, Clover Retribution and Clover Reborn are different Black Clover Roblox games from other studios. Check for “Flecks Labs: Legends” or place ID 90860390610142 before following a guide.
What is the best grimoire?
Light and Anti-Magic (Mythical) top every ranking we track, followed by Dark and World Tree (Legendary). Lightning and Chain are the best Rares. Mercury, Star and Time are too new to rank.
When does PvP unlock?
The PvP Arena opens at Player Lv 250. Beating players raises your bounty.
Is Clover Legends on console?
Yes, since the Sep 26, 2026 update. Keyboard and mouse support followed on Sep 29.
Is it free?
Yes. The store sells a Starter Pack (race rerolls, Gems, a temporary XP/mastery boost and a Black Bulls headband) and a Season Pass. Liking, favouriting and joining the group also unlocks a free mystery grimoire.
