Awakening guide & planner

“Gather materials and hunt Spell Pages from bosses. Every awakening sharpens damage and crit. The fifth unlocks your ultimate.” Awakening is the long-term power layer of every book — and the most common place players waste resources.

How awakening works

  1. Open the Awaken tab on the right book

The panel shows the selected book, its level and cap, the I–V stage row, the requirement panel and the next-stage bonus preview. Confirm the book first — recipes differ per book.

  2. Check all four gates together

Book level, six materials, Spell Pages and Yul. Fixing the most visible shortage while another gate is still red is the classic mistake.

  3. Farm the exact item, from the right place

Honey ≠ Honeycomb. Each material has one labelled island or the shop. Use the table below or the materials page.

  4. Read the preview, then commit

The filmed Plant IV→V preview: +12% damage, crit chance 18% → 20%, crit damage 54% → 60%. Only awaken books you plan to keep.

Real example: Plant stage IV → V

What this tells you
Late stages ask for hundreds of each material. 412 Spirit Moss for one stage of one book is why players who swap books often fall behind players who commit to one.

Awakening FAQ

How many awakening stages are there?

Five, I to V. Each sharpens damage and crit, and the fifth unlocks your ultimate (official description).

Why is Awaken greyed out when I have the materials?

Each stage also has a book-level gate, a Spell Page requirement and a Yul cost. In the filmed Plant example, stage V needed book Lv 50 while the book was at 46.

Where do Spell Pages come from?

Bosses (official). A Dungeon wave-5 Raichi kill was filmed dropping one, and codes like AWAKEN and DIAMOND9000 have given them.

Does awakening carry over if I change grimoire?

No. Awakening belongs to a specific book. Changing book means starting again at stage I.

Does Player level count for the gate?

No — only the level shown on the book itself.
