Side by side
| Attribute | Earth | Lightning |
|---|---|---|
| Official group | Grow | Grow |
| Rarity | Rare | Rare |
| Rarity chance per spin | 35% | 35% |
| Store price | 650,000 Yul | 5,000,000 Yul |
| Community tier (Faceless/ItzVexo) | B | A |
| Maxbit tier | C | A |
| Identity | The cheapest Rare — defensive, short-ranged, and the one Rare the rankings disagree on. | The best Rare for sustained damage — and the strongest book most players can realistically get. |
| Documented moves | Not published | Kit |
| Strengths | Cheapest Rare by a wide margin (650,000 Yul); Defensive kit helps avoid burst damage; Awakening uses Boar Meat, Earth Root and Green Herb — all shop materials | Best sustained DPS among Rares; Chaining damage clears grouped mobs; Mobility; Cheapest of the A-tier Rares (5M Yul) |
| Weaknesses | Short range; Lower DPS than other Rares; Rankings disagree (C vs B) | Lower burst than Light or Anti-Magic; Needs Wind Seeds (no published source) and Mana Crystal (Castle Island) |
| Awakening materials | Boar Meat, Earth Root, Golden Leaf, Green Herb, Spirit Moss, Stone Crust | Blue Herb, Clear Water, Gale Feathers, Mana Crystal, Spirit Moss, Wind Seeds |
Highlighted = better on that line, only when both values are published. Shared awakening materials: Spirit Moss — owning both books doubles the demand on these.
What the rankings say
The rankings split here. Maxbit puts it in C as “the weakest Rare with low range and okay damage. It focuses on defense too much and takes away your DPS.” The Faceless/ItzVexo consensus on cloverlegendswiki keeps it in B next to Plant and Poison.
